The White Lotus: Thailand incoming

With the third series of The White Lotus due to hit our TV screens sometime in 2025, get ready for Thailand to be the ultimate star of the show this time around. After series one was filmed at the Four Seasons on Maui, Hawaii, and season two headed to the Four Seasons San Domenico Palace in Taormina, Sicily, hotel bookings at both sky rocketed and the series put Hawaii and Sicily firmly back on the tourist map.

The White Lotus director Mike White and the Tourism Authority of Thailand revealed to much excitement that series three will be filmed at locations across Thailand including Bangkok, Phuket and Ko Samui, with shooting starting this month. So it’s safe to say that it’s going to be another incredible series that will have viewers once again swooning over dreamy locations and some of Thailand’s best hotels and locations.

Thailand has an enduring popularity with travellers due to its relatively cheap prices on the ground, incredible culture, delicious food and exhilarating travel opportunities that span rainforests, jungles, beaches and mountains. Travel time from the UK and Europe is around 12 hours and you can choose to fly with some of the world’s best airlines including Thai Airways and Emirates, giving you peace of mind when you travel. The capital, Bangkok, is one of my favourite cities, best explored in the back of a tuk tuk late at night in search of bars and restaurants packed full of locals eating the best food in Bangkok.

If you want a beach holiday, look no further than this South East Asia idyll. With over 1,500 miles of coastline and 1,430 islands to choose from, Thailand has some of the best beaches in Asia. Visitors can learn to dive on Ko Tao, swim in crystal clear waters on Ko Lipe’s palm fringed beaches and be amazed by the towering karst cliffs of Krabi province. Or head into the mountains and stunning national parks of Thailand for a jungle adventure that will take you deep into the wilderness of Chiang Mai and beyond.

Whether you want to experience a grand tour of Thailand or discover alternative Thailand, I can help you put together a Thailand itinerary that will allow you to see the best this enduring country has to offer. Why not start your holiday to Thailand in the charming northern capital of Chiang Mai? Here you’ll discover the less developed district of Mae Hon Song, bordering Myanmar, and can enjoy hiking, visits to an elephant sanctuary and rafting in spectacular countryside. Afterwards hop on an overnight train to Bangkok then on to some of the best beaches in Thailand. Stay in a beachside hotel and enjoy Asia’s famous hospitality for prices that are still relatively cheap compared to other destinations of a similar standard. I can arrange every part of the trip for you ensuring a stress-free holiday to Thailand: Flights, transfers, hotels, restaurants, travel experiences and added extras.
